Who has the biggest horse`s tongue?

Hoppegarten, Sunday, 14 May: On Sunday it will be particularly exciting at the Parkbahn in Berlin-Hoppegarten, because with the Comer Group International 52nd Oleander Race (Group II, 100,000 Euros, 3,200 m) the most important race for the Nurmis, i.e. the long-distance specialists, is coming up in this country.

It will be interesting to see who has the proverbial best horse`s tongue. In the field of nine candidates, Lajoscha (E. Pedroza), who just won the Altano race here, and the two-time Group winner Aff un zo (A. Starke), who came in directly behind him, as well as last year`s third place finisher Diamantis (M. Seidl) are of course well-known greats. The Irish guests, both from the stable of Luke Comer, who is known to sponsor the race, hardly bring any recommendations. Rather Nachtrose (R. Piechulek) and Nastaria (M. Lopez), who have been involved here for a longer time, come into question.

The Equalisation II, which stands out from the nine races between 10:50 am and 3:20 pm (races 1 to 5 are also part of the PMU card), leads over 2,800 metres. In the 5th race (Equalisation IV, 1,600 metres) and in the final 9th race (Equalisation III, 1,600 metres) there is the four-race bet with a guaranteed payout of 10,000 euros each.
