Three-year-olds in the Prix Texanita

Chantilly, Friday, 19 May: The Prix Texanita (2nd race/14.15 pm/80.000 Euro/1200 m), which belongs to Group 3, is aimed at three-year-old horses today in Chantilly. Wodao (Gavin Ryan) and Denver Chop (Mickael Forest) know each other from the Prix Sigy (Group 3), which was decided here on 17 April. The Donnacha O`Brien-trained stallion finished second to Denver Chop, who was fourth in the Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte (Group 2) here in October. The remaining entrants are mares, of which Zudu Spirit (Tony Piccone) is one of the closest favourites after two strong performances. Believing (Mickael Barzalona) and Shalromy (Maxime Guyon) celebrated well-paid victories heuier on the all-weather track. Moon Ray (Stephane Pasquier) made a name for himself with his triumph in the Prix Miesque (Group 3).
