Nachtflug with chances to win in Fontainebleau

Fontainebleau, Tuesday, 4 April: Eight interesting races will be run in Fontainebleau today. The Prix du Bois de la Commanderie (3rd race/15.00/18.000 Euro/2600 m), offered for four-year-old horses, will be enhanced by Nachtflug (Cristian Demuro) and No More Bolero (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev), for whom Henk Grewe and Waldemar Hickst are responsible respectively.

The former never landed outside the honoured ranks in four appearances. The Adlerflug son managed a victory in Clairefontaine, where he was slightly ahead by two lengths as the favourite. The Hickst protégé put down his maiden on his very first appearance in Lyon, albeit over a year ago. After a disastrous performance in July, the season ended early for the stallion. It remains to be seen how he will make his comeback. The German guests will have to pay particular attention to Black Milord Tavel (Christophe Soumillon) and Super Quartz (Perrine Cheyer), who took first and third place in Chantilly this year. Mystic (Axel Baron) will be interesting as a fresh winner. Matauri Gold (Mickael Barzalona) already gained experience at list level.
