Second `GNT` round in Marseille

Marseille-Borely, Wednesday 29 March: The second round of the provincial Grand National du Trot (1st race/13.50 hrs/90,000 euros/3000 m) takes place today in Marseille-Borely. 16 horses from three bands take up the fight for points and prize money.

From the basic brand, Gaspar d`Angis (Eric Raffin), who won in Vincennes and Laval this year, is very favourable and Gaudeo (Antoine Dabouis), who is getting better and better, is also conceivable far in front. They have to be especially careful of Fifty Five Bond (Jean-Charles Feron) who, with the performance from the Prix du Forez (group 3), is a possible winner in third place ahead of higher rated horses. The best class is embodied by Fakir du Ranch (Yannick-Alain Briand). The eight-year-old currently won the Prix Jean Boillereau (Course A) in Cagnes-sur-Mer despite an allowance against Honky Tonk Blues (Nicolas Ensch), which ended with a ribbon advantage over Eberton (Junior Guelpa) and Forrest Gede (Romuald Mourice). Not to be overlooked are the three wins by Flash Royal (Manuel Criado) and the form approach on Gangster Davaness (David Cinier).
