Four-year-olds at Group 3 level to finish

Paris-Vincennes, Thursday, 2 March: The winter meeting in Vincennes is turning into the home straight. Today`s penultimate event features a Group 3 race for four-year-olds in the prize category up to €175,000 with the final Prix Franck Anne (8th race/5.55pm/2700m).

Eleven participants, who have played a rather subordinate role in the vintage so far, will take up the fight for 90,000 euros in prize money. The winner could be Justin Bold (Jean-Francois Senet), whose fourth place in the Prix Ourasi, which counts as Group 1, was the most pleasing. In that fixture, Josh Power (Robin Bouvier) and Joyful Diva (Benjamin Rochard) could be spotted in the back third, but did not run badly considering strong opposition. Jeegha Pride (Theo Duvaldestin) will have plenty of supporters as the winner of the Prix de Riberac (Group 3) over Justin Bold and Japarov Lire (David Thomain), who performed well in the Prix WTW (Course A) on the day of the Prix d`Amérique, and Joyau (Matthieu Abrivard), who disappointed in eighth, are also conceivable at the front. The consistent Jaguar du Goutier (Damien Bonne) and Jet Set Bond (Jean-Michel Bazire), whose explosion of form has been awaited in vain this year, are contenders with a chance of winning.
