Group 3 riding in Vincennes

Paris-Vincennes, Thursday 24 November: Eight races are on the programme this afternoon in Paris-Vincennes. The Group 3 main event, the Prix Urgent (2nd race/14.25pm/80,000 Euro/2700m), is aimed at three-year-old European saddle trotters. Among the 13 participants, however, there are only domestically bred horses.

Jewel de Banville (Paul Philippe Ploquin) is already one of the big names in the saddle business. He won an `A` level ride here in September as expected easily ahead of Jupiter de Play (Leo Abrivard), who was the only one to follow him and later confirmed the good performance with a third place behind Jazz de Pervenche (Alexandre Abrivard). The latter made his first start in the new métier and won completely confidently. Jessy de Banville (Florian Desmigneux) pleased with two top-level honours, but did not come around the course smoothly in her last appearance in the Prix Louis Tillaye (Group 2). Jocdor (Jean Dersoir) and Jalisco Fligny (Eric Raffin) surprised in that party far behind the winner. Just Bird (Pierre-Eouard Mary) deserves increased notice as October`s `C` winner. Jorgos de Guez (Adrien Lamy) should not be overlooked as the winningest contender. Joyeux Leo (Benjamin Rochard) occasionally runs in the bet.
