Cologne finale with youngsters

Cologne, Saturday, 12 November: One day after the start of Carnival in the cathedral city, Cologne will not only be gearing up for the 2022 season finale on Sunday, but also for the racing day of the Jecken. Eight competitions will be held between 11:11 am and 2:45 pm.

In the two-year-old test over 1,500 metres, Peter Schiergen has two interesting youngsters at the start with Quality Road (B. Murzabayev) and Bärbelchen (S. Vogt). Whirlybird (A. Starke), who finished second at his debut, could be in the running for Markus Klug. Sunset Lane (R. Piechulek) could also be right in front.

In the counterpart over 1,300 metres, Nerion (B. Murzabayev) and Navare (R. Piechulek) are expected to be far in front. The Equalisation III over 2,400 metres also knows how to please. Nepalo (A. v. d. Troost) and Makthecat (A. Starke) have announced very good chances here.

13,333 Euros will be paid out in the four-horse bet of the 5th race (Equalisation IV, 1,400 metres). Naduah (M. Seidl) and Emirate`s Flight (B. Murzabayev) are potential bank horses.
