T. v. Zastrow Stutenpreis and other mare attractions

Baden-Baden, Saturday, 03 September: The big weekend of highlights starts at the Great Week in Baden-Baden-Iffezheim. Because on Saturday the T. v. Zastrow Mare Prize (Group II, 70,000 Euros, 2,400 m) offers a great attraction for three-year-old and older mares.

There are a lot of top-class ladies, like India (E. Pedroza), the Ittlinger won two group races in a row. Or Amazing Grace (O. Peslier), who also took the honours in the Dallmayr Prize. There are also Diana starters, such as the Oaks d` Italia winner Nachtrose (B. Murzabayev), the Hamburg group winner Well Disposed (A. Starke) or Narmada (R. Piechulek) and Atomic Blonde (C. Lecoeuvre).

Within the card of nine tests there are two more mare attractions. In the Wackenhut Mercedes Benz Fillies Cup (List race, 25,000 Euros, 1,400 m) there is an international line-up. There is much to be said for a French triumph, among others by Everest Rose (A. Madamet). Goldana (R. Piechulek) was very successful, but according to the rider distribution, the current fourth on the list, Dishina (B. Murzabayev), is above her.

And the Etzean Stud Winter Queen Trial (1,600 m) is considered a stepping stone for the most important race for two-year-old mares, the Prize of the Winter Queen, which will be held here in October. Bint Al Karama (E. Pedroza) already looked like the winner in Munich and could do it here.

20,000 euros beckon in the foursome bet of the 5th race (Equalisation III, 2,000 m). 10,000 Euros are to be earned in the four-way bet of the 9th race (Equalisation III, 1,000 m).
