Stay Foolish rehearses in the Grand Prix de Deauville

Deauville, Sunday, 28 August: At the Hippodrome La-Touques, the summer meeting ends today with a ten-race programme. The focus is on the Grand Prix de Deauville (4th race/15.55 h/200,000 Euro/2500 m), a Group 2 race with five participants.

Here Botanik (Mickael Barzalona) and Glycon (Jean-Bertrand Eyquem), who won the Prix de Reux (Group 3), will meet again. The latter finished third in the Grand Prix de Chantilly (Group 2) ahead of Fenelon (Stephane Pasquier), who has two wins to his name this season. Stay Foolish (Cristian Demuro), who is worth more than four million Euros, has to be beaten. This year, he won the Dubai Gold Cup (Group 2) in Meydan, but later did not finish above midfield at Group 1 level in his home country.
