Golden Whip the class event on day two in Baden-Baden

Baden-Baden, Sunday, 28 August: Day two at the Great Week in Baden-Baden-Iffezheim with a highlight of a very special kind - the 152nd Casino Baden-Baden Goldene Peitsche (Group III, 55,000 Euros, 1,200 m), the most important sprint in the country.

In an international field of eleven, Danelo (E. Pedroza) could keep the victory in the country, as his score in Hamburg was impressive. But Namos (W. Panov) could also make a comeback here after 2020. Of the guests, Dubawi Legend (R. Coakley) and Tippy Toes (F. Norton) from England are particularly appealing. The former was even second in the Dewhurst Stakes at the highest level in 2021 and should be in the favourite role.

In all, the programme includes nine races between 1.40pm and 6.25pm, including the Darley BBAG Auction Race (€102,500, 1,200m), a payday for owners of two-year-old fillies. Things look favourable for Waldeza (R. Piechulek), who has already been successful twice.

The four-horse bet with a guaranteed payout of 20,000 Euros is offered in the 5th race (Compensation III, 1,400 m). 10,000 Euros can be won in the 9th race (Equalisation IV, 2,400 m).
