Future Race in Baden-Baden with the Stars of Tomorrow

Baden-Baden, Wednesday, 31 August: The third day of the Great Week in Baden-Baden brings with it the 149th Future Race (Group III, 55,000 Euros, 1,400 m), one of the most important competitions for two-year-old horses.

Several horses that showed up big right at the first start are first choice, like Bodyman (M. Seidl), who won in France, the Fährhoferin Habana (E. Pedroza) or See Paris (M. Cadeddu), who secured the highly endowed Cologne auction race.

The rest of the card is also a challenge. In the prize of the BBAG yearling auction (52,000 Euros, 2,400 m) for three-year-old horses, Tünnes (B. Murzabayev), a former Derby hopeful, returns.

The Baden-Baden Cup (list race, 25,000 Euros, 1,800 m) is reserved for mares. With 14 horses, the line-up could hardly be better. With Nano Nagle (A. Madamet), there is even a Godolphin horse at the start.

Eleven races will be held between 11:35 am and 5:35 pm. The first four tests are also part of the PMU programme in France. The four-race bet with guaranteed payouts of 20,000 euros and two times 10,000 euros will be offered three times.
