Weissmeier chance over hurdles

Clairefontaine, Monday 4 July: The Prix des Forsythias (6th race/16.43 h/34,000 Euro/3400 m) in Clairefontaine today is aimed at four-year-old hurdle horses. Marian-Falk Weissmeier saddles Raffles Speed (Ludovic Philipperon), who won for the first time in Dieppe last time, for the Nagnag stable.

The gelding is not seen in front by the trade press, but should still have a good chance of one of the front places. Among his main opponents is Mont d`Id (Aymeric Lelievre). After last year`s good performance in the chasing ring, he recently made his seasonal debut over the easy jumps in Dieppe and finished a good second. Orange Diamond (Damien Mescam) won in May and also did not go wrong recently in Auteuil in the handicap when sixth. Be A Nice Girl (Christopher Riou) finished in the honoured ranks without exception this year and should win her first race soon. Rock And Roll (Dylan Ubeda) celebrated a sure win at Auteuil. In that game, Planetarium (Nicolas Gauffenic) did not get over the jumps without an accident, but before that he pleased in front of the Seror protégé as a giant outsider in second place.
