My Prospero ready for the Prix Eugene Adam

Saint-Cloud, Saturday, 16 July: Seven horses will contest the Prix Eugene Adam (6th race/20.00/130.000 Euro/2000 m), which is part of Group 2, in Saint-Cloud today. The long journey from England should be worthwhile for My Prospero (Tom Marquand).

The three-year-old, trained by William Haggas, recently improved in the St James`s Palace Stakes (Group 1) with a third place close behind the two fastest horses. He will have to be wary of Andre Fabre`s Junko (Maxime Guyon), who has yet to tolerate an opponent in front of him in his three-start career and recently scored his most valuable at Group 3 level. Galaxie Gold (Ioritz Mendizabal) battled to victory in the Prix Hocquart (Group 2) with L`Astronome, who finished fifth in the Grand Prix de Paris (Group 1) two days ago. Vagalame (Tony Piccone) will find a large following as the French Derby fifth. Zagrey (Gregory Benoist) and Haya Zark (Cristian Demuro) are fresh List winners. The latter defeated Russipant Fal (Hugo Lebouc) by three quarters of a length.
