Ten mares in Prix Finlande

Longchamp, Thursday, May 19: Eight races are on the program today in Longchamp. The Prix Finlande (2nd race/17.16 p.m./55,000 euros/1800 m), which belongs to the list class, is aimed at three-year-old mares.

Andre Fabre is present with two participants. Raclette (Olivier Peslier) will try to correct her disappointing run in the Prix de la Grotte (Group 3). Mascaret (Mickael Barzalona) will again challenge Yukata (Cristian Demuro), who won here in a `Classe 1` just ahead of her. Nadette (Theo Bachelot) surprised in her latest outing before Raclette and now registers chances of winning. Jouza (Clement Lecoeuvre) and Zaracampa (Aurelien Lemaitre) won currently but are now hitting it harder. Katoucha (Christophe Soumillon) and Bahasa (Maxime Guyon) played no part in the Prix la Camargo (Listed race). The Brandt mare then ran very well in second. Bahasa finished clear behind Everest Rose (Gerald Mosse) in Toulouse, also at list level, who was a close second for third. Peshmerga (Ioritz Mendizabal) surprised in Chantilly.
