Seasonal debut of Addeybb

Sandown, Thursday 26 May: The second Group 3 race of today`s event at Sandown appeals to the older horses at middle distance in the Brigadier Gerard Stakes (4th race/6.25pm/£80,000/2000m).

Mostahdaf (Jim Crowley) made a winning seasonal debut here in the Gordon Richards Stakes (Group 3) against just two rivals. Challenging the Gosden protector is multi-millionaire Addeybb (Tom Marquand). It remains to be seen whether the William Haggas-trained eight-year-old will be at a hundred straight away on his comeback. Bay Bridge (Ryan Moore), who finished last season with four consecutive wins, is also contesting his first race. Lord Glitters (Daniel Tudhope), Dubai Future (Pat Cosgrave) and Passion And Glory (Dougie Costello) are boosted by their performances at Meydan but are only considered outsiders.
