Henkel Stutenpreis with trend-setting character!

Düsseldorf, Saturday, 14 May: There are only four weeks left until the first classic mare race, the 1,000 Guineas in Düsseldorf (12 June). The time of the qualifying races has long since arrived, and so there is also an important test coming up on Saturday with the Henkel Mares` Prize (Listed race, 22,500 Euros, 1,600 m) on the Grafenberg course.

The favourite could be Wild Gloria (A., Starke), trained by Markus Klug for Gestüt Röttgen, who won easily in Krefeld and represents the successful team Starke/Markus Klug. But also her stable mate Desposita (M. Pecheur) was pleasing recently. Toskana Belle (A. Lemaitre) was very pleasing in France. Peter Schiergen provides almost half of the field, with Villefranche (B. Murzabayev) being the stable jockey`s choice over Dishina (R. Piechulek) and Goldana (S. Vogt). However, both were already behind Run For Me (A. Pietsch).

The 2,200-metre Equaliser II is another highlight of the nine races between 13:30 and 17:45. Fellow (R. Piechulek) is one of several horses in form. We trust him with further improvement.
10,000 Euros are on the line for the four-horse bet of the 8th race (Equalisation IV, 2,200 m). Here, Smaragd (R. Piechulek) and Koebes (B. Murzabayev) are two potential horses.
