Winnetou Diamant in the Prix Ariel

Paris-Vincennes, Friday, 15 April: Tonight`s event on the Plateau de Gravelle begins with the Prix Ariel (1st race/18.23/59,000 Euro/2850 m). Five-year-old European horses are addressed in this `Course B`.

Winnetou Diamant (Robin Bakker), who has been successful in Germany several times, will make his comeback. Strong competition awaits the Hagoort protégé. Hobbes (Alexandre Abrivard) and Blue Eyes Bar (Matthieu Abrivard) won in March and can hardly be left out. Kimberly`s Wish (Eric Raffin) made her mark here in February and now ventures into a better class. Brillantissime (Franck Ouvrie) fluffed her French debut but still appears dangerous judging by his Italian performances. First Blood (Jean-Michel Bazire) makes his first start with the French champion. A good performance is expected.
