Three-year-olds rehearse in Paris

Paris-Vincennes, Friday, 22 April: The youngest active crop will contest two Group 3 races separated by sex in front of the sulky at Vincennes today.

In the Prix Atlas (6th race/21.44pm/70.000 Euro/2100m), the three-year-old stallions are at the expiry. Jakartas des Pres (Franck Nivard) did nothing wrong in the Prix Penthesilea (Group 3) three weeks ago when third ahead of Just For Lova (Antoine Lherete), Jaguar Wit (Tony Le Beller) and Jasmin Merite (Julien Raffestin) and could win the match. His priority is to beat Jasmin du Vallon (Francois Lagadeuc), who has won two times in a row. The difficult but strong-running Jetpack (Eric Raffin) is also one of his fiercest rivals.

In the mares` Prix Aschera (7th race/22.11pm/70,000 Euro/2100m), the way to victory leads through the enormously strong-running Jamaica Turbo (Francois Lagadeuc), but the gallop-prone winner of the Prix Une de Mai (Group 2) will be tested by Joke (Gabriele Gelormini), who surprisingly finished third in the Critérium des Jeunes (Group 1). Jazzie Belle (Eric Raffin) and Junon (David Thomain), prepared by William Bigeon, will not make it easy for the former.
