Best Flying in the Prix Sigy

Chantilly, Wednesday, 20 April: Today`s eight-race event in Chantilly starts right away with the main event. In the Prix Sigy (1st race/16.27 h/80.000 Euro/1100 m), which belongs to Group 3, four stallions will meet seven mares.

Andreas Suborics saddled Best Flying (Christophe Soumillon), who had already run strongly here, for the first time this year. In the Prix Eclipse (Group 3) the three-year-old lost after a photo finish, later she finished fourth in the Critérium de Maisons-Laffitte. Trainer Henri-Alex Pantall saddled two horses with good chances, who already caused a stir this year. Feel Your Power (Mickael Barzalona) won the Prix Ronde de Nuit here in a Listed race against, among others, Josejosephine (Yoann Rousset), who finished in midfield, and Le Cadeau (Olivier Peslier) had no problems 16 days ago at the same place in a Classe 1 with Miramar (Ronan Thomas), who finished third in the List behind Feel Your Power and ahead of Montussan (Tony Piccone) in October. Caturra (Adam Kirby), Attagirl (Adrie de Vries) and Guilded (Cristian Demuro) are interesting guests from England. The protégé of Clive Cox won the Flying Childers Stakes (Group 2) last year, later he just missed a top placing in the Middle Park Stakes (Group 1). Attagirl defeated Caturra in York, last time he was without possibilities against Caturra. Guilded already impressed in France.
