Glorious Goodwood: fifth and final day

Glorious Goodwood ends today with the Group One Nassau Stakes for fillies and mares over 10 furlongs at 16.15 CET the main event. To be honest, this looks a slightly substandard field, but the 7 runners include a fancied candidate from France and Ireland. The former is the Aga Khan´s Narniyn (Alain de Royer-Dupré/ Christophe Soumillon) while the latter is Venus de Milo (Aidan and Joseph O´Brien), but while respecting their claims we do not really fancy either - in our opinion the French filly needs some rain and the Irish filly a longer distance. John Gosden has won the last 2 runnings, and now has 2 runners, the 4yo Sultanina (William Buick) and the 3yo Eastern Belle (Jimmy Fortune). The former is very lightly-raced and seems worth a try in this grade. However our main hope is Mango Diva (Sir Michael Stoute/ Ryan Moore), who loves firm ground and could be good enough.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Stepping Out - Tatlisu - Daylight
2. Race: Kings Fete - Second Step - Rainbow Rock
3. Race: Venus De Milo - Narniyn - Mango Diva
4. Race: Muthmir - Intrinsic - Discussiontofollow
5. Race: Lethal Legacy - Dutch Connection - Rotherwick
6. Race: When Will It End - Muqaawel - Guiding Light
7. Race: War Spirit - Money Team - Peterkin
