UAE Oaks at Meydan

the Dubai Carnival continues today with the Group Three UAE Oaks over 9 1/2 furlongs on tapeta at 17.25 CET. Amazingly, all 9 runners ran in the UAE 1000 Guineas here 3 weeks ago, so we logically expect the same result with Ihtimaal (Saeed bin Suroor/ Silvestre de Sousa) winning her second classic from Mensoora (Mike de Kock/ Christophe Soumillon) and Feedyah (Charlie Appleby/ Mickael Barzalona) Mensoora can get closer this time, but Ihtimaal won so easily that it is hard to imagine her being beaten and the extra distance will be in her favour. Mikle de Kocvk´s Anearboo misses the Zabeel Mile at 18.00, the other group race on the card, but the South African still has two cards to play here, Mushreq (Paul Hanagan) and Gale Force Ten (Pat Cosgrave).
