UAE Oaks at Meydan

A relatively low key card at Meydan today - although far better than anything on offer in Europe - and the Group Three UAE Oaks at 18.05 CET is the main event. 9 fillies line up and every one of them ran in the UAE 1,000 Guineas here over a shorter trip three weeks ago. Godolphin dominated that event, with Lovely Pass (Kieren Fallon), Shuruq (Paul Hanagan) and Music Chart (Mikael Barzalona) taking the first three places. However we expect a different result today, as that race was run at a vetry slow pace and the tactics this time will almost certainly be different. Music Chart could come out best of the Godolphin runners, but the really interesting one is Emotif (Mike de Kock/ Christophe Soumillon), a beaten favourite when appearing to be not fully fit that day; we expect a much better performance this time and she is the selection.
