Weather outlook: snow and frost

The wintry weather in most parts of the U.K. is causing big problems for N.H. racing. Newcastle´s meeting today has already been abandoned, and so have tomorrow´s meetings at Ludlow and Market Rasen. There is an inspection later this morning to see if Newbury´s good meeting this afternoon can go ahead, and an inspection for tomorrow´s fixture at Wincanton. There will be an additional all-weather fixture tomorrow at Lingfield (jumpers bumpers) and also at Kempton on Saturday, while there are already worries about the big meetings at Ascot and Haydock.
