Away for the weekend

This column will be away for the weekend and be back on Monday. The big meeting is at Cheltenham, where Saturday´s International Hurdle at 16.05 is the main feature. Last season´s Champion Hurdle winner Rock on Ruby, now trained by Harry Fry, makes his reappearance here, where his main rivals are expected to be Paul Nicholls´ Zarkandar and Nicky Henderson´s Grandouet. On Sunday, all eyes will be on German-bred Don Cossack, who attempts to win his fifth consecutive race in the Grade One novice hurdle at 13.55 at Navan.
