Kempton and Wolverhampton

We are now left with two low level meetings on the all-weather with the maiden races for 3yo´s by far the most interesting events, with runners from some of the top stables. The first division of the mile maiden at 15.45 CET at Kempton could go to Mutafaakir (John Gosden/ Paul Hanagan) and the second division to Gold Edition (Jeremy Noseda/ Jimmy Fortune), whose team can follow up half an hour later with Furbelow. Gosden sends stable jockey William Buick to Wolverhampton and they should certainly win the maiden race at 18.55 with Fluctuate, who was third of 18 in the Wood Ditton at Newmarket, normally quite a strong race. Buick also partners Uprise for Sir Michael Stoute in the 3yo handicap at 21.25, and we expect this well-bred colt, who has been gelded since his last run in September, to win on his seasonal debut.
