Classic trials at Longchamp

Longchamp is another top track to hold classic trials today, with 3 group races restricted to 3yo´s and all the top French stables well represented. The Wertheimer brothers, trainer Freddie Head and jockey Olivier Peslier could well take the Group Two Prix Noailles over 2000 metres at 14.30 CET with Moonyr and the Prix de Fontainebleau (1 mile, Group Three) at 15.40 with Salto, who looks the best bet of the day. He also saddles Hamdan al Maktoum´s Albaraah with son-in-law Davy Bonilla in the saddle in the Prix de la Grotte (1 mile, Group Three, fillies), but here we prefer Gestüt Ammerland´s Golden Lilac (André Fabre/ Maxime Guyon), unbeaten in 2 starts last season and a daughter of Galileo out of Group One mare Grey Lilas.
