rest of Newbury

the rest of the Newbury card is also very classy, with several Cheltenham hopes on view and the top stables of Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson strongly represented.
We expect Nicholls, whose stable is coming back to top form, to get the better of today´s exchanges and predict that Al Ferof (Harry Skelton) will take the opening novice hurdle at 14.20 CET, What a Friend (Skelton) to giive weight to Henderson´s Riverside Theatre (Barry Geraghty) in the Grade 2 Aon Chase at 15.25, and Tchico Polos (Tony McCoy) to defeat Henderson´s French Opera in the Grade 2 Game Spirit Chase at 16.00. In the last-named event we also expect I´msingingtheblues (David Pipe/ Tom Scudamore), getting weight all round, to run a big race.

Henderson should however win the main event at Warwick with Finian´s Rainbow (Andrew Tinkler), a leading hope for the Arkle Chase. There are only 4 runners in the Grade 2 Kingmaker Novice Chase at 15.40, but they all have good form to their credit. However Finian´ s Rainbow, who has won both his this season´s starts in excellent style, stands out.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Al Ferof - Kid Cassidy - Oasis Knight
2. Race: Awesome Freddie - Cappagh - Sangfroid
3. Race: Riverside Theatre - What A Friend - Fair Along
4. Race: Tchico Polos - French Opera - Cornas
5. Race: Solix - Salden Licht - Walkon
6. Race: Aiteen Thirtythree - Tarablaze - Jokers Legacy
