All-weather racing at Lingfield and Wolverhampton

More very poor all-weather racing today, at Lingfield this afternoon and Wolverhampton this evening.
Willie Jarvis has his string in good form and his Aquilifer (Shane Kelly) can complete a quick course hat-trick in the 7 furlongs handicap for 3yo´s at 15.15 CET. His two previous wins were over a mile, but this trip should be no problem. The other one we like here is CD specialist Chjimes (Conor Dore/ Hayley Turner) in the 6 furlongs handicap at 15.50; he did not get a clear run when only 4th here last week. There could well be a German-bred winner at Wolverhampton as both Aviso (Barney Curley/Shane Kelly and Querido (Gary Brown/ Chris Catlin) both have chances in the 9 furlongs claimer at 18.10. Aviso, who once won the German 2,000 Guineas, has been very inconsistent in th U.K., although he has won over this CD, but Querido, not beaten far here last week, had previousy won 4 times in 5 starts over this CD; he gets 5 lbs from Aviso and is the selection. The handicap over an extended 2 miles half an hour later is the trickiest race here, even with only 6 runners.Treacle Tart (Peter Charalambous/ Adam Kirby) is unbeaten in 2 starts here, including this trip last time, while Ethics Firl (John Berry/ Frnny Norton) is also a CD winnr with a good record here. Mark Johnston´s Exemplary(Joe Fanning) has not run since October, and is moving up in distance, but if anywhere near peak fitness would be a big danger to all.
