All-weather racing at Lingfield and Wolverhampton

The only racing left today are the low-level meetings on the all-weather at Lingfield this afternoon and Wolverhampton this evening. At Lingfield, top-weight Alternative Choice (Nick Littmoden/ George Baker) is stepping up on trip in the 2 miles handicap at 14.25, but if he stays has clearly an outstanding chance on form, having finished first or second on his last 5 starts. Lord Lansing (Elaine Burke/ Eddie Ahern) has won his last 2 starts and can complete a hat-trick in the 10 furlongs handicap at 16.05, but ex-Italian Kammamuri (Michael Wigham/ Andrea Atzeni) could be a problem. The 3yo maiden here over 5 furlongs at 15.30 should mainly concern Morermaloke (Brian Meehan/ Shane Kelly) and Pineapple Pete (Paul Cole/ Chris Catlin), while we also fancy Catlin´s mount Dichoh (Michael Madgwick/ in the mile handicap at 16.40; he has not won for ages but usually goes well here and was only just beaten last time.

Best race at Wolverhampton this evening is th 3yo handicap over 7 furlongs at 19.35, in which all 6 runners have a chance. Acclamazing (Marco Botti/ Adam Kirby) was an easy maiden winner this CD in early December and may have most to fear from Madam Mayem /Tom Dascombe/ Richard Kingscote), who scored here over 6 furlongs last time.
