Warwick off - third inspection at Exeter

it was hoped that today could be the day for the resumption of N.H. racing- but these hopes could be dashed. Warwick has already been called off, while there is a further inspection at Exeter. Should Exeter go ahead, punters are strongly advised to check for non-runners, of which there are certain to be quite a few.
Two people who will be hoping more than most for racing to be staged are top trainer -who has two of his stables most promising types engaged - and Robert "Choc" Thornton, due to make his comeback after being sidelined for 5 months with a knee injury. Choc has 2 rides for his retaining stable of Alan King, but his best chance is probably Richard Lee´ s Incentivise in the 4 mile handicap chase at 14.50 CET.
Nicholls has booked Daryl Jacobs to ride his two big hopes today- Sanctuaire in the 4yo handicap hurdle at 13.50 and Royal Charm in the novice chase half an hour later. There are tiny fields in both these events, but plenty of runners in the other races - assuming they all turn up, which is unlikely.
