Leopardstown, Limerick and Down Royal

All 3 meetings in Ireland today have been rescheduled from earlier in the week. Main feature is the Grade One novice chase at 15.00 CET at Leopardstown, which revolves around Mikael d´Haguenet (Willie Mullins/ Paul Townend). After winning 6 races over hurdles in succession, his run came to an end on his chasing debut when he fell at the last when still looking the likely winner. If he stays on his feet, he should find recompense today.

German-bred Noble Prince (Paul Nolan/ Barry Geraghty) should provide the main opposition, although Torphichen (Edward O´Grady/ Andrew McNamara) and Saludos (Jessica Harrington/ Robbie Power), both moving up in grade after easy wins, should not be underestimated. The 3yo hurdle at 14.00 also has a strong field.Toner d´Oudairies (Gordon Elliott/ Davy Russell) won well at Fairyhouse last time from Kalann (Sbrina Harty/ Mark Darcy) may not be able to confirm the form, while German-bred filly Narima (Mervyn Torrens/ BJ Cooper) ls comes into the reckoning. Dermot Weld won the big handicap here yesterday and has two more winning chances today with Hidden Universe (NAP) and Endless Intrigue in the maiden hurdles at 13.30 and 16.05, both partnered by Robbie McNamara.

Main event at Limerick is the valuable handicap chase at 15.50. Rubi Light (Robert Hennessy/ Jo Cullen) is the class act here and is unbeaten in two starts this season.,However he has been punished by the handicapper and we are not sure that he can concede so much weight. Clem Bay Cove (Colm Murphy/ Emmet Mullins) could be an each-way alternative and his young jockey can also score on his uncle Willie´s Sweet my Lord at 14.20.

At Down Royal, smart bumper Dylan Ross (Noel Meade/ Tim Carroll) can make a winning debut over hurdles at 13.10, while Tharawaat (Gordon Elliott/ Jason Maguire), who fell early on last time, can make amends by winning the beginners chase at 14.40.
