Another mammoth card at Deauville, with 13 races and maximum fields in most all of them. Main event is the listed Prix Petite Etoile for 3yo fillies over 1900 metres at 13.50 CET. German interests are represented here by Gestüt Römerhof´ s Good Hope, who is however now trained in France by Eoghain O´Neill and will be ridden by Ronan Thomas. This is however quite a tough race, in which the best of the locals are probably On Verra (Francois Doumen/ Thomas Huet) and Shining (Francois Rohaut/ Frederic Spanu). The German runners did not do so well here yesterday, but there could be a German result this afternoon at 15.25, with Accaccio (Christian von der Recke/ Sabrina Wandt) and Ideology (Mario and Steffi Hofer) engaged over 1500 metres. von der Recke has another chance with Bosco in the claimer for older horses over the same distance an hour later.
