Bleak outlook for N.H. racing

With the U.K. and Ireland totally in the grip of wintry weather, the outlook for N.H. racing remains bleak. All jumps racing today has been abandoned - Carlisle and Leicester in England and a top meeting at Fairyhouse in Ireland with 3 Grade One races. Fairyhouse now plan to stage a big meeting this coming Thursday with 8 races, 7 of them graded events including all of the weekend´s main features, with free entry. Further cancellations can be expected in the next few days.

The only racing in Britain and Ireland today is the low-level all-weather meeting at Kempton.
