N.H. racing at Stratford, Fontwell and Clonmel (Ireland)

The most interesting race at Stratford could be the novice hurdle at 16.50 CET. San Remo Bello (Paul Nicholls/ Ian Popham) and Renard d´Irlande (Venetia Williams/ Aidan Coleman) both make their British debuts here after showing winning form in the French provinces, while Timesawasting (Evan Williams/ Paul Moloney) showed good form when runner-up in Ireland. Owen Glendower (Nicky Henderson/ Barry Geraghty) won in good style at Worcester and looks the one to beat. The beginners chase over 2 miles 7 furlongs at 17.20 is another good race, featuring the fencing debut of the smart hurdler Tell Massini (Tom George/ Paddy Brennan), not seen out since falling when favourite at th Cheltenham festival in March. German-bred Fredo and Triggerman were also useful over hurdles so Tell Massini must be at his best to win today.

At Fontwell we expect Rith Bob ( Dai Rees/ Rhys Flint) to win the novice hurdle over the unusual distance of 3 miles 3 furlongs at 17.30. Gary Moore had a winner on the flat yesterday with son Ryan in the saddle, and he can win chase today with course specialist Space Cowboy at 16.00, with elder brother Jamie aboard.

At Clonmel, useful bumper Our Victoria (Colin Bowe/ Barry O´Neill) is expected to get off to a winning start over hurdles at 15.15, and the same goes for Blazing Tempo (Willie Mullins/ Ruby Walsh) over fences at 17.15, having her first start for this trainer. Ruby has another winning chance on Adrian Maguire´ s Mr. Warbucks at 16.45, even though he has been off the track since January.
