International fields at Saint-Cloud

The Group Three Prix de Flore over 2100 metres for fillies at 15.15 CET is the big race in France today and has attracted an international field, including two runners trained in Germany - Tech Exceed (Andreas Wöhler/ Dominique Boeuf) and Indian Breeze (Jens Hirschberger/ Franck Blondel). Both are up to the required standard but this looks a very strong renewal, and we like the chances of English raider Aviate (Henry Cecil/ Tom Queally).

The French defense is also strong and we are interested in how the Monsun daughter La Boum runs, after she was most unfairly disqualified last time out after finishing third in a better race on Arc weekend. There are several more German runners on the card, and we especially like the prospects of Eminem (Norbert Sauer/ Henk Grewe) in a conditions race over the same trip at 16.20.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Le Bosphore - Tingly - Backswing
2. Race: Black Sheep - Inscrutable - Fortuneo
3. Race: Polarena - Shamardanse - Belle Angelique
4. Race: Baahama - Fleur Enchantee - Indian Breeze
5. Race: Roatan - Babyla - Shany De Loriol
6. Race: Lifting Cloud - Hermoun - Balajo
