N.H. racing today

plenty of jumps racing today, with Newton Abbot this afternoon, Wincanton and Wetherby this evening as well as a mixed meeting (3 flat races and 4 over jumps) at Clonmel in Ireland. With the David Pipe stable in great form- both on the flat and over jumps - we expect more winners for the stable at Newton Abbot and Wincanton. At the former track, Armenian Boy, despite being off the track since November, has a chance in the handicap hurdle at 16.45 CET for Tom Scudamore, who moves on to to the evening racing at the latter track, where Brandy Butter at 18.30, Sir Bathwick at 19.05 and Casual Style at 21.15 should all run well. Among the opposition in the last race is his stable companion the ex-German Loom (Greg Supple).

Another jockey who could score at both meetings is Tony McCoy, who partners two hot favourites for Jim Best - Skye but N Ben at 17.20 and Barrel of Fun at 19.35. At Wetherby, the much improved Mardood (Chris Grant/ Denis O´Regan) can complete a fourtimer in the handicap hurdle over 2 3/4 miles at 19.50, while Ballysimon (James Ewart/ Harry Haynes) can follow up a recent easy CD victory at 21.25.
