Leicester, Windsor and Roscommon (Ireland) this evening

Richard Hannon and Richard Hughes are easily the most successful trainer/ jockey combination at Windsor, and with them both in top form, they can land a double there this evening with Cape to Rio in the 2yo conditions race over 5 furlongs at 19.40 CET (the best race of the day, with all 6 runners being previous winners) and Belgique in the fillies maiden at 21.10. Hughes can possibly make it a hat-trick with Ralph Beckett´s Admin in the 3yo handicap at 20.40. At Leicester, German-bred Gay Mirage (Michael Jarvis/ Philip Robinson) has an each-way chance in the 3yo handicap over 1 1/2 miles at 21.30. Other fancies here are Buddy Holly (Pat Eddery/ Steven Craine) at 20.30, penalised for winning a probably better race at Newmarket last time, and Vanilla Rum (Henry Candy/ Dane O´Neill) at 21.00.

There is a mixed card at the Irish fixture at Roscommon, woth 5 flat races, 2 chases and a bumper. Adajal (Charlie Swan) is much improved and has already won twice this month; he can complete a quick hat-trick in the 2 mile handicap chase at 21.20.
