Beverley, Warwick, Yarmouth and Southwell ( a.w. evening meeting)

very modest racing at today´s four flat meetings. Frankie Dettori is a rare visitor to Beverley and goes there today for just one ride - Jeremy Noseda´s filly Dance East in the 3yo maiden at 17.30 CET. She has much better form than any of the colts in the field and will probably start at very short odds. The only conceivable danger is Mark Johnston´ s well-bred newcomer Rule Breaker (Greg Fairley). The 8 1/2 furlongs handicap at 17.00 is much more open, but we hope to see Kevin Ryan´s Fujin Dancer, with daughter Amy in the saddle, follow up his recent Hamilton win; CD winner Danehillsundance (David Brown/ Peter Mcdonald) looks the main danger.

Kevin Ryan can also score at Warwick, where he has booked Kieren Fallon to ride Sharp Eclipse in the 3yo 6 furlongs handicap at 15.40. The best race here is the mile handicap at 16.40. Fibs and Flannel (Tim Easterby/ David Allan) is fast improving and has won his last 2 races in good style; he can complete a quick hat-trick, although Subtefuge (Henry Cecil/ Tom Queally), Gold Rules (Luca Cumani/ Fallon) and Invincible Soul (Richard Hannon/ Richard Hughes) will all have their supporters. Easterby and Allan can also take the 5 furlongs handicap at 16.10 with easy last-time-out winner Lost in Paris.

Local trainer Chrstine Dunnett is also dangerous at Yarmouth, and we expect December (Darryll Holland), one of two runners from her stable in the second division of the 6 furlongs handicap at 16.20, to go well. The first division at 15.20 can go to Fuzzy Cat (David Barron/ Dean Heslop). Ryan Moore is at Yarmouth, principally to ride Astral Flower for Sir Michael Stoute in the 3yo maiden at 16.50, but Eshtyaaq (Marcus Tregoning/ Richard Hills), very green when runner-up on his recent debut at Kempton, looks a major threat. Moore´s best chance is probably Mark Tompkins´ Locum, top-weight in the 11 furlongs handicap at 17.50. Locum has only ever won two races, but they were both here and Ryan was in the saddle both times.

Several of the jockeys move on to the evening meeting at Southwell, where Dettori can possibly take the 3yo seller at 19.20 on Stef and Stelio for Ger Butler, while Fallon can win the mile handicap at 20.50 on Cumani´s Major Phil. CD specialist Saleroso (Ann Duffield/ Jimmy Quinn) could be a problem here.
