N.H. racing resumes at last -but Naas off

At last after two weeks without "proper" racing, and 27 abandoned meetings in the UK and Ireland, jumps racing resumes today. Kempton has a strong card and there should be no problems there, while there is still an inspection to be passed at Huntingdon and Naas (Ireland). There is also all-weather racing from Lingfield, but the other meetings- Wetherby, Warwick and Fontwell have all been called off.

Later: Naas abandoned! perhaps they were too optimistic as the track in still waterlogged. It is now hoped to stage this meeting next Tuesday. Huntingdon has called for a further inspection.
