Lingfield and Kempton

In the hope that racing goes ahead at these tracks, we hope to see Henry Cecil´s Zerzura (Tom Queally) win the opening maiden at 13.40 CET at Lingfield. He started a warm favourite on his late debut on this CD at New Year, but was only fifth, but is expected to know much more about the game this time. Chanrossa (Ed Dunlop/ Jim Crowley), finished in front of him then and is the obvious danger.

Otherwise the best races are the class 4 handicaps at the end of the card, while both look very tricky. The 1 1/2 mile race at 16.00 could concern Chalice Welcome (Neil King/ Hayley Turner), winner of 3 of his last 4 races, and bottom weight Quinsman (Stan Moore/ Jimmy Quinn). King and Turner can follow up over 10 furlongs at 16.35 with Farleigh House, only narrowly beaten last time at Wolverhampton.

The best races also come at the end of Kempton´s "twilight" meeting. Again they are very open handicaps, and our short list comprises Bravo Echo, Seek the Fair Wind and Desert Dreamer over 7 furlongs at 19.45, and Bawaadi, Tamasou and Totally Focussed over a mile half an hour later.
