all-weather racing at Southwell and Wolverhampton

today´s two all-weather cards are clearly overshadowed by the excellent jumps racing, but the 6 furlongs handicap at 14.50 CET at Southwell looks quite a competitive heat. Ingelby Arch can complete a quick CD hat-trick, but Confuchias, who has been racing in much better company for most of his career, looks a big threat. The situation in the 1 mile 3 furlongs handicap half an hour later is similar; Lucky Punt, the only 3yo in the field, is the choice on recent form, but top-weight Luberon, off the track since March, when he was 4th to Scintillo ( Group One winner!), is the class act. He is partnered by Kieren Fallon, who in company wth several other jockeys, travels on to Wolverhampton´s evening meeting, and can land a double here with La Gifted at 18.50 and Bee Stinger two hours later.
