Willie Mullins, already firing on all cylinders, brings out several of his stable stars today and looks set to clean up at both Punchestown and Cork. Top race of the day in Ireland is the Grade One Dobbins and Madigans Hurdle at 15.40 CET at Punchestown, in which Hurricane Fly (Mullins/ Paul Townend) must defeat Solwhit (Charlie Byrnes/ Davy Russell) and Muirhead (Noel Meade/ Paul Carberry) to maintain his position as favourite for the Champion Hurdle. Only 4 runners but still a highly informative event. Another Cheltenham favourite is on view at Punchestown, Sizing Europe (Henry de Bromhead/ Andrew Lynch), who runs in the Grade Two novice chase at 14.05; a repetition of the form he showed when murdering Harchibald & co this CD last month would be more than enough. Clan Tara, just beaten by the smart Pandorama here last time, can take the Grade Three novice chase at 13.35 for Paul Nolan and Davy Russell. At Cork, Mullins and jockey David Casey can dominate proceedings. They c an win the Grade Three novice hurdle at 15.30 with Definitive Edge, the Cork Grand National at 13.45 with Our Monty, despite his moving up in class and distance, and also have excellent prospects with Lillyshite Dancer at 13.156, Skorcher at 14.20 and Quadrillon at 14.55, while Mullins can also win at 16.35 with Sicilian Secret with Emmett Mullins in the saddle.
