Musselburgh and Thurles

there is also jumps racing, but at a lower level, at Musselburgh in Scotland and Thurles in Ireland. At the latter track, we expect Willie Mullins to continue his winning run with Rhyl Accord at 15.10 CET and Scotsirish at 16.20, both partnered by Paul Townend. Paul Carberry, who is currently suspended but able to ride today owing to an anomaly in the rules, can take the maiden hurdle at 14.05 on Noel Meade´s Prima Vista, just beaten at odds-on last time, while Luska Lad (JJ Hanlon/ Barry O´Connell), denied a run on several occasions recently by the weather, should win the hurdle race at 14.35. One factor punters always need to make a profit is "Viel Glück" and we expect the horse of that name, trained by Ferdy Murphy and ridden by Graham Lee, to have a good chance in the handicap chase at 14.10 at Musselburgh. There are several Irish runners at this meeting, and two of them, Meath All Star (Gordon Elliott/ Jason Maguire) and Dooney Rock (Niall Moran/ Luke McNiff) can fight o ut the finish to the maiden hurdle at 14.45.
