Ffos Las, Kempton and Ludlow

Three N.H.meetings today in the U.K. with the best card at Kempton. Nicky Henderson and Tony McCoy can combine there to win the novice hurdle at 13.20 CET with Candy Creek and the novice chase half an hour later with You´re the Top, both making their debuts in these disciplines. In the main event, a listed hurdle race for mares over 3 miles at 14.25, they field the enigmatic My Petra, who has failed to complte in her lst 4 outings, but should not be written off. However Whiteoak (Donld McCain/ Jason Maguire) looks the pick here, although French raider Quaspia (Francois Doumen/ Robert Thornton) and Amber Brook (Nigel Twiston-Davies/ Paddy Brennan) are also dangerous, Doumen´s runners here must always be respected and he also saddles Doctor Pat (McCoy) in the beginners chase over 3 miles at 15.00. It could be a big day for McCain, who also has good prospects of a double at Ffos Las with Riptide in the 3yo hurdle at 13.40 and Rosie all Over in the mares handicap chase at 15.25, both partnered by Paul Benson. Paul Nicholls also has a couple of runners here ridden by Harry Skelton, but he has booked Ruby Walsh to partner his two runners at Ludlow - Royal Collonges in the novice hurdle at 13.30 and Hell´s Bay, a decent hurdler making his debut over fences at 14.05, and it would be no surprise to see them both win.
