York and Wolverhampton (evening a.w.)

York´s card today includes 4 handicaps with 20 runners each and presents punters with a very difficult puzzle. Our shoirt lists include the following: Splendourinthegrass (Roger Charlton/ Seb Sanders) and Dhaular Dhar (Jim Goldie/ Gary Bartley) in the 7 furlongs race at 15.05 CET, although they might need some rain; thr 3yo´s Theola (Mark Tompkins/ Jimmy Quinn) and Mykingdomforahorse (Mick Channon/ Sam Hitchcott) in the 2 1/4 mile race at 15.40; the two Irish-trained runners Toufan Express (Adrian McGuinness/ Chris Hayes) and Irish Heartbeat (David Myerscough/ William Buick), as well as top-weight Hogmaneigh (Goldie/ Daniel Tudhope) over 6 furlongs at 16.45; and Veroon (James Given/ Royston Ffrench) and Some Sunny Day (Hughie Morrison/ Travis Block) in the 3yo race over 10 furlongs at 17.55. With Brian Meehan´s 2yo´s in good form, we also expect to see Never the Waiter (Martin Dwyer) run well in the listed race at 17.10. Wolverhampton´s evening meeting is very tame by compari son; best bet here could be Sir Mark Prescott s Royal Diamond (Seb Sanders), who can defy top-weight and complete a four-timer in the 3yo handicap over 1 3/4 miles at 20.45.
