Newmarket´s final meeting of 2009 starts today, and while tomorrow´s card (with 2 Group Ones plus the Cesarewitch) is obviously much stronger, today also offers good sport and we expect Godolphin´s winning run to continue. The stable can win the main event, a Group Three over 9 furlongs at 16.10 CET, with Rio de La Plata, a top-class 2yo who had run much since but is clearly the best horse in the field, while their juveniles Judiciary in the mile maiden at 15.00 and Emirates Dream in the conditions race at 15.35 are also likely winners. They can also take the fillies listed race at 16.45, although this looks quite open. Frankie Dettori rides all these and also has a good chance in the other listed race for fillies, over 6 furlongs at 17.20, with William Haggas´ Damaniya´s Girl.
