German runners in France today

there were more German winners in France yesterday, and today there are runners at two tracks- Deauville and Angers. At the former track, Nelson (Andreas Trybuhl/ Dominique Boeuf), Evening Boy (Jan-Pierre Carvalho) and Arkando (Hans-Walter Hiller/ Olivier Pslier) all try their luck in the conditions race over 2400 metres PSF at 14.10, while Black Jack (Michael Trybuhl/ Sandrine Hagenbach) and Expensive Girl (Pavel Vovcenko/ Nina Wagner) run in the claimer for lady amateurs at 16.40. Main event at Deauville is the Group Three Prix des Reservoirs for 2yo fillies over a mile at 14.40 with only 6 runners, including a British raider, Mark Johnston´s Marie de Medici (Joe Fanning), an easy winner last time and now moving up in class. Main opposition should come from the locally-trained Zagora (Yves de Nicolay/ Christophe Soumillon), who is unbeaten in 2 starts, including this CD. There is also racing at Angers, where Mario Hofer has made two entries - Lovely Samantha in the 2yo rac e over 2000 metres at 13.55 with daughter Steffi in the saddle, and Trivero in the 3yo race over 2900 metres an hour later with Gaetan Masure.
