German runners in France today

Even in France, racing is at a low level before the big Arc weekend at Longchamp, and all 8 races at Chantilly are claiming races (reclamer). As so often, there is a huge German entry here, notably in the 1800 metres race at 16.00, in which 6 Germans are entered: Feathjer Cloud (Erika Mäder/ Henk Grewe), Black Jack (Michael Trybuhl/ Dominique Boeuf), Thanatos (Peter Schiergen/ Filip Minarik), El Vettorio (Christian Sprengel/ Stephane Pasquier), Lasse (Andreas Wöhler/ Maxime Guyon) and Royal Pepper (Mario Hofer/ Gerald Mossé). A Grman win seems highly likely here, though hard to day which of this group will come out best. Otherwis Mario Hofer has th best chances, and Sooner or Later, in the 1200 metres race for 3yo´s at 13.55, and Principe Uromonte in the mile race for 3yo´s at 14.55, both partnered by Gerald Mossé, should run well, while we make veteran Kaliyan (Hofer/ Johan Victoire) in the 3000 metres race at 15.30 our best bet of the day.
