German runners in France today

Two races with German runners at Chantilly today: a conditions race for 3yo´s over 1200 metres at 16.20 and a claimer for 3yo´s over 2100 metres at 16.55. In the former race Nareion (Werner Baltromei/ Dominique Boeuf) can be preferred to Glad Sky (Miroslav Rulec/ Daniele Porcu), but may find Letteratura (Jean-Claude Rouget/ Christophe Lemaire) too strong. In the claimer, Canali (Baltromei/ Boeuf) and Tessaiga (Werner Hefter/ Johan Victoire) both have chances, but another German-bred Muscadet (Robert Collet/ Flavier Prat) loks a big danger. Main event is a listed race over 2400 metres at 15.50; Alain de Royer-Dupré has a good chance here with both his runners, the unbeaten Lando colt Shahwardi (Lmaire) and Gallilei (Gerald Mossé), while British challenger Serva Jugum (Paul Cole/ Ioritz Mendizibal) is the danger. There will also be a great deal of interest in the race for 2yo maiden fillies at 14.45, which sees the debut of the superbly-bred Deluxe (Andre Fabre/ Stephane Pasqui er).
