All-weather racing at Wolverhampton

Rather surprisingly, the best racing of the day in the U.K. comes from the all-weather track at Wolverhampton, where most of the top jockeys and trainers are in action. The fillies´ handicap over 9 1/2 furlongs at 17.00 CET looks very open. Top-weight Suzi Spends (High Collingridge/ Jimmy Quinn) is an a.w. specialist, but looks exposed, and the lightly weighted 3yo´s Candy Ride (Ed Dunlop/ Tom Queally) and Expressive (Sir Michael Stoute/ Ryan Moore) can be preferred, while Sir Mark Prescott´s Golden Button /Stephen Donohoe) looks a big danger. The 2yo maiden half an hour later looks between Barlaman (Saeed bin Suroor/ Ahmed Ajtebi) and Noble Greek (John Best/ Robert Winston), while the 3yo handicap over 7 furlongs at 18.00 could see top-weight Mabait (Luca Cumani/ Kieren Fallon), Invincible Isle (Henry Cecil/ Queally) and Hightime Heroine (Jeremy Noseda( Ryan Moore) fighting out the finish. Hightime Heroine meets the Cecil runner on 4 lbs better terms for half a length and ma y be able to reverse the placings this time.
